يشير التقرير إلى تقدم بطيء في الأهداف الرئيسية للتنمية المستدامة (SDGs) مع اقتراب موعد 2030. تكشف الدراسة أن حصة دخل العمل العالمية، التي تمثل الجزء من إجمالي الدخل الذي يكسبه العمال، انخفضت بمقدار 0.6 نقطة مئوية من 2019 إلى 2022 ومنذ ذلك الحين ظلت ثابتة – مما يعزز الاتجاه النزولي المستمر. إذا كانت الحصة قد ظلت عند نفس المستوى كما في 2004، لكان دخل العمل أكبر بمقدار 2.4 تريليون دولار أمريكي في 2024 وحده.
